Day 01: Leh - Khalsar...110km
Leave Leh early after breakfast with packed lunch, cross Khardong-la
(5540 M) through the highest road in the world. Arrive at Khalsar over the
pass for overnight stay in camp. Day 02: Khalsar - Panamik...75 km
After visiting Gompa
Monastery at Khalsar, drive to Panamik a very large settlement at the bank
of Nubra river. Overnight stay in camp.
Day 03: Panamik
Visit Hot water sulphur spring, have a bath (ideal for physical ailments),
return to camp for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the 250-year-old Samoor
Gompa. Overnight stay in Camp.
Day 04: at Leisure Visit
Nubra river, local people, Bazar and pick some of local Handicrafts.
Day 05: Panamik - Tirit Drive back to Tirit village - a
centre of Handicrafts, Wool and Jewellery. Overnight stay in Camp.
Day 06: Free Day
Day 07: Tirit- Leh
Drive back to Leh after crossing Khardong-la, reaching Leh around 4 P.M.
Visit
Nubra river, local people, Bazar and pick some of local Handicrafts.
